I’m an engineer, writer, and persistent tinkerer interested in how technology moves from an idea to something that works reliably in the real world.
Dhruv’s Engineering Notes is my public notebook—a place where I explore the engineering behind modern systems, from Linux, databases, and cloud infrastructure to platform engineering, distributed systems, and AI.
A growing part of my work focuses on AI engineering and enterprise AI: understanding the fundamentals, building useful applications, and figuring out what it actually takes to move AI from experiments and prototypes into secure, reliable, production-ready systems.
What I write about

- Enterprise AI — adoption, architecture, security, governance, platforms, and taking AI from proof of concept to production
I write to understand things better and to make complicated engineering ideas easier to approach. Some posts start with first principles; others come from experiments, problems I’ve encountered, or technologies I simply wanted to understand more deeply.
The goal is simple: learn how things work, build them, operate them, and share what I discover along the way.
When I’m not writing, I’m usually building something, breaking something to understand how it works, or making coffee while thinking about doing one of those things.
